I have never seen a couple who’s faces light up when they look at each other more than Natalie & Anson. The energy between these two literally makes your heart swell.
I was honored to be behind the camera for their celebration and even more honored to be in the presence of such a talented writer. Natalie actually wrote and composed the song that their first dance was set to. Her lyrics, poems and glowing personality really brought the sunshine to their wedding day! This girl has some talent!
For bride and groom portraits, we braved the rain and raced down the street to the park for some awesome fall colors! On the way back, we stopped at Expresso Coffee in Westerville, OH – the place where Anson had meticulously planned his proposal!
After some quick shots, we headed back to the church because….it was saree time!
The privilege of being able to shoot a culturally mixed wedding is humbling. I’ve never seen such beautiful intricate details and the bright colors had me in total awe. We chose the atrium of the church for the first look with Anson, as he saw his bride in the traditional bridal wear for his culture. Natalie looks simply stunning and he was speechless.
The reception was inviting, cozy and full of laughter and celebration. The toasts were among the best I’ve heard and amazingly heart felt and genuine. Anson even referred to Natalie as his “Aladdin Princess” – can you get any cuter??
I can’t wait to work with these guys in the future! And I just know that they have a bright and beautiful one that is ahead of them.
Congratulations Anson & Natalie and thank you again for the honor of capturing your amazing wedding. May your days be filled with love, laughter and lyrics!
