I spent my Monday evening at this awesome home in Chesterhill, OH. The drive into this little town is simply gorgeous – with farmhouses and rolling green hills all around.

My first impression when I pulled up was a big “wow!” and I knew that this place had to have some history. I learned a lot about the house’s early beginnings and some of the treasures that are inside from the lovely seller.

The quaint little garden shed next to the double detached garage would make a perfect storage space, or could easily be turned into a vintage potting shed for the garden-lover. The entryway boasts a modern look with tongue and groove pine ceilings that give a welcoming and warming HELLO as you enter the home.

And seriously – The kitchen in this house is straight out of a storybook and inspired by an English Home Interior magazine! The custom detail above the range is exquisite and the natural light is amazing. I love how the seller chose to really set the stainless appliances apart by choosing the perfect cabinet color. And check out the detail on the deep, farmhouse apron sink! She is a very skilled artist, and it shows with the way their home is so well put together!

I have to say that my favorite room has to be the living room sitting area. With such pristine preservation, the gas fireplace is the star of the show. This is one of TWO working fireplaces in the downstairs…simply amazing. Makes you almost wish for the snow to fly so you can cuddle up with a good book, doesn’t it?

The gardens surrounding this property total around .37 acres and are an inviting space for butterflies and other local wildlife. The established and thriving herb garden is PERFECT and makes me want to cut my own  to create a delicious meal! With the natural landscape that they have, weeds are considered friends of the garden and I have to say, I agree! The grounds are inviting, low maintenance and lush.
